Here is my first post...I will be adding on photos of my paintings in progress, and I invite you to post comments, ect. on my works.
I enjoy painting wildlife art, in both oil and watercolors. I tend to gravitate towards North American mammals and birds. I enjoy going to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons to observe, photograph, and sketch the various animals in those parks. I have hundreds of paintings in my head just from visiting those areas in the last few years!
This fall, I will be attending the Robert Bateman (www.robertbateman.ca) painting seminar in Yellowstone. This is a dream come true for me, and will complete one of my life's goals! I need to finish/start several paintings this summer for critiquing by Mr. Bateman October, which is why I need to buckle down once this semester is over and paint a lot this summer!
